EMSEAL™ AST HI-ACRYLIC – Self-Expanding Foam Tape for Sealing Joints
EMSEAL™ AST HI-ACRYLIC is a self-adhering, pre-compressed foam sealant tape made from open-cell polyurethane foam impregnated with a water-based acrylic-modified asphalt emulsion. Engineered to expand after installation, this joint filler and gasket solution seals out moisture, dust, air, and wind-driven rain across a range of construction assemblies.
Ideal for metal roofing, lap seams, panel joints, skylights, and roof ridges, AST conforms to irregular surfaces, expands into gaps, and maintains long-term flexibility without drying out or cracking. It’s an excellent alternative to caulk, butyl tapes, and rigid foam closures — delivering superior performance with less mess and better thermal, acoustic, and moisture resistance.
